Terms of Service

All Buddy Platform | Seedicon India Private Limited | Effective Date: 1 June 2026 | Version 1.0

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the All Buddy platform, including event discovery, third-party event links, attendee networking, contact management, business card scanning, CRM tools, and messaging features (collectively, the 'Platform'), operated by Seedicon India Private Limited ('Company', 'we', 'us'). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age and capable of entering into a legally binding agreement to use the Platform. By registering, you represent that you meet these requirements and that all information you provide is accurate.

2. Account Registration

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. You must notify us immediately at support@seedicon.com of any unauthorised access. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. Acceptable Use

You may use the Platform to:

Browse curated public events and access official third-party registration links
Discover and connect with fellow event attendees and industry professionals
Scan and store business cards and contact data
Manage contact relationships and follow-up communications
Send email and WhatsApp outreach to opted-in contacts

You may not:

Upload false, misleading, or fraudulent information
Use the Platform to send unsolicited communications (spam)
Harvest, scrape, or collect data from other users without consent
Attempt to reverse engineer, copy, or circumvent any part of the Platform
Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable law
Process personal data of individuals without a lawful basis

4. Event Directory and Third-Party Links

All Buddy aggregates and displays curated event information for discovery purposes. Event listings on the Platform contain links to official third-party organizers and ticketing providers. The Company does not host, organize, or sell tickets directly for third-party events listed on the Platform. Third-party organizers are solely responsible for event execution, ticketing, and scheduling.

5. Third-Party Services and Redirects

When you click external links to register or purchase tickets for a listed event, you are redirected to third-party platforms governed by their own terms of service and privacy policies. The Company is not responsible for third-party transactions, ticket pricing, cancellations, or payouts.

6. Contact and CRM Data

When you scan a business card or import contacts, you represent that you have a legitimate business relationship or lawful basis to store and process that individual's data. You must not use CRM features to process sensitive personal data without explicit consent, or to harass, stalk, or spam individuals. See our Contact Data Usage Policy for full obligations.

7. Email and WhatsApp Messaging

You may only send messaging communications to contacts who have provided consent or where a legitimate business relationship exists. You must honour all unsubscribe and opt-out requests promptly. Sending unsolicited bulk messages through the Platform is prohibited and may result in immediate account termination. You are responsible for compliance with CAN-SPAM, GDPR, DPDP Act 2023, and WhatsApp Business API policies.

8. Intellectual Property

All Platform software, design, trademarks, and content owned by the Company remain our exclusive property. You retain ownership of your content and data but grant the Company a limited, non-exclusive licence to host and process it solely to provide the services. You may not use our trademarks or branding without prior written consent.

9. Subscription and Freemium Terms

The Platform offers a free tier with limited features and paid Pro/Enterprise plans. Subscription fees are billed in advance and are non-refundable except as required by law. We may modify pricing with 30 days' notice. Continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities. Our total aggregate liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Company and its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or costs arising from your use of the Platform, your content, or your violation of these Terms or any third-party rights.

12. Disclaimers

The Platform is provided 'as is' without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service or freedom from errors. We are not responsible for the conduct of third-party event organizers or attendees, or for the accuracy of contact data scanned or imported.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for breach of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time via Settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately. Data deletion is handled per our Data Retention Policy.

14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes shall first be attempted to be resolved by negotiation. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration in Bangalore, India under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. Nothing prevents either party from seeking injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction.

15. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms with 14 days' notice via email or in-app notification. Continued use constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree to updated Terms, you must discontinue use and may delete your account.
